Lilly reports Phase 3b trial data on Taltz and Zepbound
Combining both drugs showed broader biomarker changes by Week 36 in adults with psoriasis and obesity.
Eli Lilly announced new exploratory Phase 3b data from its TOGETHER-PsO clinical trial on October 9, 2026. The prespecified analysis evaluated the concomitant use of Taltz and Zepbound compared with Taltz alone in adults with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related comorbid condition.
The findings, presented at the 2026 Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference in Las Vegas, showed broader biomarker responses as early as Week 12 when both therapies were used together. By Week 36, the combination altered 482 differentially expressed proteins and 467 differentially expressed genes, compared with 140 proteins and 16 genes for Taltz monotherapy.
The combination also produced greater reductions in inflammatory immune activity, including shifts in neutrophil markers that mediated part of the additional Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) response. The 52-week study evaluated 274 participants randomized 1:1, following earlier results where the combination achieved superior skin clearance and weight loss at Week 36 that were maintained through Week 52.
