Nubank expands data limits on NuCel plans at no added cost

Allowances rise by up to 40% across tiers as customer count reaches 1 million in Brazil

Nubank expanded the monthly internet allowances across its NuCel mobile phone plans on October 6, 2026, keeping subscription prices unchanged. The digital financial services company announced the upgrade as the telecom service reached 1,000,000 subscribers in Brazil, operating across a network covering 93% of the national territory.

The basic plan received a 10 GB increase, rising 40.0% from 25 GB to 35 GB per month while maintaining its price of 45.00 Brazilian reais. The intermediate tier also gained 10 GB, moving up 33.3% from 30 GB to 40 GB per month at BRL 60.00. The advanced plan increased by 5 GB, or 12.5%, moving from 40 GB to 45 GB per month for BRL 70.00.

In addition, the promotional NuCel Croma package rose from 10 GB to 17 GB per month during its 6-month complimentary period. NuCel users also retain access to a dedicated Caixinha reserve offering a yield of 120% of the CDI on balances up to BRL 10,000.00.
