FedEx Dataworks and Stripe announced a long-term strategic partnership on October 6, 2026, aimed at reducing friction in global trade for small and medium-sized businesses. The companies plan to release their first joint solution in early 2027, expanding access to financing for tens of thousands of SMB customers.

Under the agreement, FedEx will integrate supply chain intelligence from FedEx Dataworks with Stripe Capital. By analyzing operational signals such as shipment volumes, fulfillment performance, and inventory movement instead of relying solely on traditional credit scores and bank statements, Stripe aims to evaluate and disburse tailored funding more quickly.

FedEx will also adopt Stripe as a payment processor across its global checkouts. The integration will add more than 50 new payment methods, allowing FedEx customers worldwide to complete transactions using preferred local options.

Vishal Talwar, executive vice president, chief digital and information officer of FedEx and president of FedEx Dataworks, stated that FedEx helps move more than $2 trillion in global commerce daily. Stripe co-founder and president John Collison noted that the initiative will convert operational activity, such as shipping a thousand packages a week, into access to growth capital.
