The integration streamlines patient check-in and doctor credentialing for controlled substances.
Oracle Health announced a collaboration with digital identity network ID.me on September 24, 2026, during the Oracle Health and Life Sciences Summit in Orlando, Florida. The partnership integrates ID.me's identity capabilities directly into Oracle Health solutions.
The tool allows patients to verify their identity online prior to or during check-in, selecting which records to share to reduce repetitive paperwork. For healthcare providers, the system streamlines credentialing for the electronic prescription of controlled substances (EPCS).
Oracle Health customers can tap into ID.me's network of nearly 5 million medical professionals. More than 100,000 prescribers across the United States already use ID.me for EPCS credentialing, and the feature is now live for Oracle clients.
ID.me maintains more than 175 million total users across 22 federal agencies, 50 state agencies, and over 100 healthcare organizations.
