The transition is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Brazilian oil and gas company PetroReconcavo announced on Thursday, September 24, 2026, that co-founder Troy Patrick Finney will step down from his executive director position after 26 years with the company.
Finney notified the Board of Directors of his decision. The succession process is scheduled to conclude in the fourth quarter of 2026. Until the transition finishes, Finney will remain in his role and fully exercise his executive and statutory duties.
PetroReconcavo stated that the planned process aims to maintain continuity across operations and strategic projects currently under his leadership. Finney was part of the founding group, helping structure the company, develop its assets, build technical teams, and implement strategic initiatives.
The company has not yet named a replacement for Finney and noted that it will keep shareholders and the market informed on upcoming developments.
