RTX wins $50.1 million Navy order for jammer repairs

RTX Corporation announced that its Raytheon business received a $50.1 million ceiling-priced delivery order from the U.S. Navy. The contract covers the repair of 98 Weapon Repairable Assemblies that support the Next Generation Jammer-Mid Band system on EA-18G Growler aircraft.

Work will take place in Forest, Mississippi, and El Segundo, California. The project is scheduled for completion by March 2030. The system is designed to disrupt enemy radar and communications systems as military forces face advancing electronic threats.

The order reflects steady demand for recurring lifecycle maintenance across the EA-18G fleet. Peer defense contractors such as Northrop Grumman and L3Harris Technologies are also competing for work in the expanding electronic warfare market.

Shares of RTX have risen 11.7% over the past year, while its broader industry fell 16.2%. The stock trades at a forward 12-month price-to-sales ratio of 2.50, compared with an industry average of 2.19.
