Televisa-Univision executive Nacho Meyer steps down
The network head will depart on October 15 but remain as an adviser
Ignacio "Nacho" Meyer is stepping down as president of U.S. Networks and Local Media at
Televisa-Univision on October 15 to begin a new professional chapter. The company confirmed the move to Infobae Mexico following initial reports by Billboard.
Televisa-Univision has not yet announced who will replace Meyer in the leadership role. The departure comes as the media company prepares for the end of 2026 and readies its broadcast of the Latin Grammys, scheduled for November 12.
While Meyer leaves daily operations, he will maintain a long-term advisory relationship with the group. He will continue to work on projects connected to the Latin Grammys as well as entertainment programming, including Don Francisco's interview series.
Meyer was appointed president in September 2022 after previously serving as head of Music and Non-Scripted Entertainment. In that earlier position, he oversaw productions including Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, and the Latin Grammys, alongside commercial strategies for music publishing, sound design, and artist development in the United States.
