TIM launches prepaid mobile plans of up to 5 GB
The packages cost 59 and 69 Brazilian reais per month and include access to TIMmusic by Deezer.
TIM announced two new prepaid mobile offers aimed at heavy users. The packages expand its existing lineup beyond its 500 MB and 1 GB plans by adding options of 3 GB and 5 GB. Both new tiers include access to TIMmusic by Deezer at no additional cost.
The 3 GB package costs BRL 59 per month, while the 5 GB plan costs BRL 69 per month. The fee is deducted from the customer's prepaid balance every 30 days. If the balance is insufficient, the plan renews only when the user adds new credits.
Internet access is blocked once the full data allowance is exhausted until the service renews. Customers may also choose to buy an extra data pack or switch plans. TIM stated that the offers aim to reach heavy users who do not plan to migrate to postpaid contracts.
