Visa has partnered with UPT to deploy its Currencycloud platform for corporate cross-border payments and virtual IBAN accounts. The collaboration allows corporate clients to access virtual EUR and GBP IBANs to simplify international collections.
UPT plans to use the platform to streamline international payment flows for business customers across multiple markets. The move aligns with Visa's strategy to expand business-to-business transaction services alongside Visa Direct, targeting commercial money movement beyond traditional consumer card spending.
Visa has a reported market value of about $674.4 billion. Key indicators to watch going forward include reported volumes for Visa Direct and cross-border transactions in its upcoming fiscal 2027 results, particularly growth in B2B and remittance corridors using services like Currencycloud.
