XPeng to debut G9L flagship SUV in Paris
The electric automaker will open European orders on Oct. 12, 2026, and expand local output.
XPeng will globally debut its next-generation AI flagship SUV, the G9L, at the 2026 Paris Motor Show on Oct. 12, 2026. The company will open European order books and announce regional pricing during the event. The G9L will become the automaker's fourth model manufactured in Europe as part of its local production expansion.
At a more than 1,000-square-meter exhibition in Hall 6, the company will present its Physical AI Museum across four sections covering its technology platform, AI vehicles, humanoid robots, and flying cars. XPeng will display the G9L alongside the L03, P7+, G6, G9, and X9. It will also offer its first large-scale NGP intelligent driving test drives outside China using the L03 SUV coupe, which debuted in Munich in July 2026 and is preparing for its initial European deliveries.
The company continues adapting its intelligent driving systems through its European R&D center in Munich. XPeng has delivered more than 100,000 vehicles outside China, including over 60,000 units in Europe and more than 6,000 vehicles in France since entering the market two years ago. In the second quarter of 2026, overseas deliveries surpassed 20,000 units for the first time, up 81% year over year.
Beyond automotive production, XPeng is pursuing mass production of its IRON humanoid robot, Robotaxis, and flying cars. In August 2026, its robotics business raised more than $900 million in its initial funding round. In September 2026, the IRON robot entered production on a newly commissioned manufacturing line.
