AbbVie presents 60 dermatology studies at the 2026 EADV Congress

AbbVie announced on September 30, 2026, that it is presenting 60 scientific abstracts across its dermatology portfolio at the 2026 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress in Vienna, Austria, which takes place from September 30 to October 3. The data include three late-breaking presentations spanning multiple immune-mediated skin diseases.

The presentations highlight approved therapies Skyrizi (risankizumab) and Rinvoq (upadacitinib). For Rinvoq, the company reported 52-week data from the Phase 3 UP-AA trials in alopecia areata, week 48 and week 76 repigmentation outcomes from two Phase 3 trials in non-segmental vitiligo, and 28-week data in combination with phototherapy. For Skyrizi, AbbVie is presenting 52-week pediatric psoriasis data, head-to-head results against deucravacitinib, and a five-year analysis of radiographic progression in psoriatic arthritis from the Phase 3 KEEPsAKE-1 trial.

The conference also showcases pipeline compounds. AbbVie released 16-week primary results from the Phase 2 APEX Part B trial and 52-week data from Part A for zumilokibart in moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. In hidradenitis suppurativa, late-breaking and Phase 2 data evaluate lutikizumab on neutrophilic inflammation, symptom burden, and disease severity under the IHS4 scoring system.
