The new unit targets an integrated capital projects market projected to reach $348 billion by 2030.
Accenture announced on September 23, 2026, the launch of Accenture Construct, a new global business unit dedicated to helping project owners plan, execute, and optimize large-scale capital and infrastructure projects. The initiative builds on $2.5 billion in cumulative investments and unifies Accenture's capital projects business, which grew fourfold over the prior three years.
The new business targets a $260 billion market for owner-side capital project services, which Accenture projects will expand at a 7.5% annual rate to $348 billion by 2030. The unit aims to capture demand driven by data center construction for artificial intelligence, the global energy transition, and aging infrastructure replacement.
Led by CEO Adam J. Shaw, Accenture Construct organizes more than 5,000 specialists across five global lines of business: Data Centers, Utilities & Telecommunications, Transportation & Civic Infrastructure, Advanced Manufacturing, and Process Industries. The entity integrates capabilities from past acquisitions across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, and will collaborate with Accenture's majority-owned joint venture, DLB Associates.
