Accenture reports fiscal 2026 revenue of $74.2 billion

Fourth-quarter sales reached $18.7 billion, topping the upper end of the company's guidance range.

Accenture reported financial results on October 1, 2026, for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended August 31, 2026. Fourth-quarter revenue rose 6% in U.S. dollars and 7% in local currency to $18.7 billion, exceeding the high end of company guidance. For the full fiscal year, revenue increased by $4.5 billion, or 6% in U.S. dollars and 5% in local currency, to $74.2 billion.

Fourth-quarter new bookings totaled $22.2 billion, an increase of 4% in U.S. dollars and 5% in local currency, bringing full-year bookings to $84.5 billion. The firm noted a record 141 quarterly client bookings of $100 million or more. Fourth-quarter diluted earnings per share reached $3.29 on a GAAP basis, up 46%, and rose 9% over adjusted EPS from the prior year period. Full-year GAAP diluted EPS rose 12% to $13.56, while adjusted EPS increased 8% to $13.97.

Full-year GAAP operating margin expanded 70 basis points to 15.4%, and adjusted operating margin rose 20 basis points to 15.8%. Free cash flow reached $2.8 billion for the quarter and $11.6 billion for the year. Accenture returned a record $11.5 billion in cash to shareholders over the fiscal year, an increase of 38%, which included $7.5 billion in repurchases or redemptions and $2 billion in fourth-quarter share buybacks.

For fiscal year 2027, Accenture expects full-year revenue growth between 3% and 6% in local currency. The company projects GAAP diluted EPS of $14.39 to $14.81, representing an increase of 6% to 9%, or 3% to 6% over adjusted EPS. It also expects to return at least $9.5 billion in cash to shareholders during fiscal 2027.
