Aeroméxico expands credit facility to $250 million

Aerovías de México, a subsidiary of Grupo Aeroméxico, renewed and expanded its revolving syndicated credit facility to $250 million with a three-year term on September 30, 2026. The transaction increases an original $200 million facility secured in November 2024 to support the carrier's available liquidity.

BBVA Mexico served as sole global coordinator, sole bookrunner, and administrative agent. The bank structured and syndicated the financing, which drew participation from domestic and international financial institutions.

The airline stated that the financing supports its ordinary operations while providing financial flexibility to fund strategic investments under its long-term business plan. Aeroméxico operates a fleet of 170 aircraft, serving 100 destinations across Mexico and 23 countries.
