Grupo Argos units close key financings under ACE 1.0
Concessions Opain and Pacífico 2 secure funds to optimize debt and advance dividends.
Grupo Argos advanced its ACE 1.0 program through two new financial operations in concessions managed by Odinsa. Opain, which manages and operates Bogotá's El Dorado International Airport, completed a refinancing transaction for 185 million dollars. This move reduces debt costs, advances dividend distributions to shareholders, and improves return on invested capital.
Concession Pacífico 2 closed a financing process for COP 510,000 million. The company plans to use this liquidity for general operational purposes, financial debt obligations, and dividend payments to shareholders.
Grupo Argos described these transactions as key milestones in ACE 1.0. The program aims to optimize portfolio management, advance cash generation and distributions, release resources from mature assets, and direct capital toward higher-return opportunities.
The transactions reflect Odinsa's ongoing evolution into Grupo Argos Asset Management, which serves as the sole asset manager for Grupo Argos.
These operations demonstrate how Odinsa's capability and experience contribute to improving asset profitability, advancing distributions, and releasing resources to strengthen our ability to allocate capital toward alternatives that offer the best returns for Grupo Argos shareholders.
