Aguas Andinas board member buys shares for CLP 2,500 million

Aguas Andinas board member Giorgianna Cúneo acquired 7.8 million Series A shares of the Chilean utility on Tuesday through the investment vehicle Inversiones Cinque Terre. The transaction totaled CLP 2,500 million, according to a Santiago Stock Exchange filing published on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

The purchase represents 0.13% of Aguas Andinas and raises Cinque Terre's total stake in the company to 0.46%. The transaction was carried out at CLP 320 per share, the same level at which Aguas Andinas Series A shares were trading.

Shares of Aguas Andinas show a negative total return of 10.9% year to date. In contrast, Chile's benchmark MSCI IPSA index has gained 4.8% over the same period.

Cinque Terre operates as an investment arm of Grupo Liguria, which belongs to Juan Cúneo and his heirs alongside vehicles Inversiones Santa Victoria and the family office Inversiones y Rentas Liguria. The family also holds a significant stake in Inversiones Aguas Metropolitanas, the parent company of Aguas Andinas. In August, Cúneo and her sister Paola sold shares in retailer Falabella for CLP 157,500 million, where she also serves as a director of Falabella Retail.
