Alicorp Colombia obtained $65 million and COP 188,648.4 million under the credit facility.
Peruvian consumer goods company Alicorp began receiving disbursements from its syndicated credit facility of up to $480 million, which was initially announced in early September. According to a regulatory filing submitted on 17 September, Alicorp Colombia received $65 million alongside a local currency tranche of COP 188,648.4 million.
The financing package includes a committed credit line of up to $230 million for Alicorp with an initial three-year term. It also includes $250 million in medium-term loans with a five-year maturity allocated across Alicorp Colombia, Alicorp Ecuador, and Alicorp Holdco España, with an option to disburse Colombian pesos for the Colombian unit. BBVA, Citi, JPMorgan Chase, and Santander served as Joint Lead Arrangers and Joint Bookrunners.
The agreement also led to the cancellation of a committed line of up to $120 million that Alicorp had announced in August 2024, which became effective on 8 September 2026. The regulatory filing did not specify the exact destination of the newly disbursed funds.
The funding follows Alicorp's recent expansion in Colombia. In August, the company took direct operational control of Unilever's home care business, acquired for more than $158 million. That transaction included a production plant in Palmira, eight to 10 brands such as FAB, 3D, Aromatel, Coco Varela, Lavomatic, and Vel Rosita, and roughly 200 workers.
