The new program offers 1.5% cash back and integrates AI expense tracking.
American Express introduced the next generation of its Amex Corporate program on September 30, 2026. The offering combines the new American Express Corporate Cashback Card with integrated expense management software, artificial intelligence features, and the new Amex Expense mobile app.
The new etched-metal card provides 1.5% cash back as a monthly statement credit on up to $10 million in spending per calendar year across all company cards, followed by 1% after that threshold. It also includes 3% Uber Cash on Business Rides and Uber Eats. Businesses pay a $2,950 annual membership fee for unlimited physical and virtual cards, with the charge waived for the first year.
The platform's expense management software captures transaction data automatically and syncs with widely used Enterprise Resource Planning software. The mobile app creates expense reports automatically as purchases occur, uses AI to suggest fields based on prior transactions, and checks submissions against company policies. American Express also plans to add AI agents and Accounts Payable workflows later this fall.
Raymond Joabar, Group President of Global Commercial Services at American Express, stated that nearly nine out of 10 surveyed businesses said their future growth depends on gaining a better understanding of employee spending.
