Intuit expands IDEAS accelerator with an LA28 Olympics cohort

Intuit expanded its artificial intelligence accelerator program, known as IDEAS, by adding a new cohort tied to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The group focuses on procurement opportunities for small businesses aiming to secure supplier and contractor positions for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

The LA28 cohort specifically assists local and veteran-owned enterprises in sectors such as construction, event services, and creative fields. The initiative aims to help these companies manage bidding processes, compliance, and daily workflows through Intuit platforms like QuickBooks and integrated artificial intelligence tools.

Alongside the Olympic initiative, Intuit launched its first Rural Cohort in partnership with Marshall University to assist entrepreneurs located outside major urban areas. In total, more than 150 businesses are taking part in the accelerator programs as they navigate the 2026 to 2028 cycle.

The new programs follow recent product moves by Intuit, including an integration between Solera Qapter and QuickBooks announced on 17 September 2026. The company continues to link its core financial, payments, and compliance software directly to enterprise contract opportunities.
