Bayer expands Canadian distribution alliance with Mint
The agreement adds four cardiovascular and women's health products in Canada.
Bayer expanded its Canadian distribution partnership with Mint Pharmaceuticals on October 6, 2026. The expanded alliance adds Angeliq, Climara, Triquilar, and Xarelto to their existing arrangement, broadening supply across cardiovascular and women's health portfolios.
The distribution collaboration between the companies originally covered Bayer's Adalat XL, an antihypertensive and antianginal treatment. The updated deal adds Angeliq tablets, Climara 25, 50, and 75 transdermal systems, Triquilar 21 and 28 tablets, and Xarelto oral suspension granules.
By broadening this partnership across additional Bayer medicines, we can continue to leverage Mint's strong Canadian distribution network and market expertise to help ensure these treatments remain accessible to healthcare professionals and patients who rely on them.
Mint Pharmaceuticals operates a nationwide supply chain that has averted 25 national drug shortages across 16 essential medicines over the past decade. For fiscal 2025, Bayer reported sales of 45.6 billion euros, research and development spending of 5.8 billion euros, and approximately 88,000 employees globally.
