The new agentic cybersecurity system uses Nvidia Nemotron models alongside CrowdStrike technology.
CrowdStrike teamed up with Nvidia to launch SafeMind at its Fal.Con 2026 conference. The agentic cybersecurity platform combines Nvidia Nemotron models with technology from CrowdStrike's Cyber Superintelligence Lab. Nvidia described the architecture as a continuous loop where offensive and defensive systems challenge and sharpen each other.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted cybersecurity on September 10 at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference. He noted that security is a natural successor to coding tools because defensive software operates around the clock without waiting for human prompts. CrowdStrike feeds its agents with a massive stream of proprietary endpoint and identity telemetry data.
Institutional positioning reflects rising interest in the security firm. Hedge-fund ownership of CrowdStrike climbed to 89 funds in the second quarter from 79 in the first quarter. Short interest stood at about 2.4% of CrowdStrike's float as of August 14, compared with 1.2% for Nvidia.
