Davivienda adds cash services at 403 Olímpica stores

Banco Davivienda and its digital platform DaviPlata expanded their correspondent banking network across Colombia through an alliance with retail chain Olímpica, part of Grupo Olímpica. The partnership enables banking services at designated checkouts across 403 Olímpica stores nationwide.

Customers can carry out deposits, withdrawals, and payments for Davivienda products at these checkout points. Cash withdrawals will not require a physical card or extra paperwork. Users request a security code directly from the mobile app and show it at the register. Customers can also transfer funds to third parties by providing the recipient's phone number and the transfer amount.

Marcela Ramírez, CEO of DaviPlata, highlighted that the agreement allows the institution to serve customers in places that are already part of their daily routine.

The service will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 365 days a year, including Sundays and holidays, across most locations. José Manuel Carbonell, president of Olímpica, stated that the retail chain has more than 12 years of experience as a banking correspondent. Its checkout terminals process over 800,000 financial operations per month, moving more than COP 185,000 million monthly.
