The mobile learning app and Supercell's hit game will run shared challenges from 19 to 30 September.
On 17 September 2026, Duolingo and mobile game developer Supercell announced a global in-app collaboration between the language platform and hit title Brawl Stars. The crossover event will run across both mobile apps from 19 September through 30 September.
Inside Brawl Stars, Duolingo's mascot Duo the Owl will appear as an in-game boss. The game is introducing a 20v1 Boss Fight mode where players work together inside Duo's classroom to answer quizzes and defeat progressively stronger versions of the character. The mobile game will also feature daily assignments and a final exam on the last day to unlock exclusive items.
Within the Duolingo app, learners will encounter Brawl Stars character Spike during lessons. Users can complete daily language exercises to advance through a limited-time streak quest, earning exclusive crossover items and unlocking Spike as a playable character in Brawl Stars upon finishing the challenge.
