Eli Lilly and Company has entered into a strategic research collaboration and license agreement with InnoCare Pharma to develop new medicines, the companies announced on September 24, 2026.
Under the agreement, InnoCare will use its proprietary drug discovery platform to discover and advance compounds against up to five targets to address critical unmet medical needs.
InnoCare is eligible to receive up to $100 million in upfront and near-term payments, as well as up to approximately $3.25 billion in development and commercial milestone payments. InnoCare may also receive single-digit tiered royalties based on annual net product sales.
Dr. Jasmine Cui, co-founder, chairwoman and CEO of InnoCare, stated that the company is excited to leverage its research platform alongside Eli Lilly to expand its partnership footprint.
