Visa and restaurant technology provider OpenTable announced a renewed agreement across the United States, Mexico, and Canada on October 6, 2026. The multi-year deal broadens the Visa Dining Collection in Mexico and Canada while extending an expanded culinary events program in the United States through 2029.

The renewal gives eligible cardholders exclusive access to reservations at participating restaurants, ranging from Michelin-starred venues to local favorites. Supported locations include Mexico City, Monterrey, Los Cabos, and Cancun in Mexico, as well as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, and surrounding areas in Canada. Returning venues include Mon Lapin and Rôtisserie La Lune in Montreal, LOREA and Pargot in Mexico City, and KOLI in Monterrey.

Eligible Visa Infinite cardholders worldwide traveling to Mexico or Canada will be able to book held tables and events through the program, while those visiting the United States can book special experiences. Over the past two years, the collaboration produced more than 80 bespoke events, such as Friends in Town and Off the Clock, the majority of which sold out.

OpenTable, a unit of Booking Holdings, cited survey data showing that 48% of Americans are more likely to dine at a restaurant hosting a pop-up, collaboration, or special event. Robin Chiang, Chief Growth Officer at OpenTable, stated that the partnership has helped restaurants fill millions of seats to date.
