GAP Secures Ps. 8,000 Million in Credit
The airport operator will refinance upcoming maturities and fund capital expenditures.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico entered into credit facilities with several financial institutions for an aggregate amount of Ps. 8,000 million. The company announced the transaction on 11 September 2026. GAP will draw down the funds gradually to refinance debt and finance capital expenditures under the Master Development Program for its airports in Mexico.
GAP allocated Ps. 4,258 million of the total credit to pay maturing long-term debt certificates. This includes Ps. 2,758 million for the GAP22L certificates maturing on 21 September 2026, and Ps. 1,500 million for the GAP21-V certificates maturing on 9 October 2026. The remaining Ps. 3,742 million will fund capital expenditures.
The facilities were signed with Santander, BBVA, HSBC, J.P. Morgan and Scotiabank. The terms range from 6 to 12 months, with certain agreements offering an option to extend for an additional 6 months. GAP will pay a floating interest rate based on Funding TIIE plus a weighted-average spread of 45 basis points.
