Quarterly EPS of $0.75 and revenue topped consensus estimates despite year-over-year declines.
General Mills reported $4.39 billion in revenue for the quarter ended August 2026. That represented a 2.8% decline from the same period last year, but beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.34 billion by 1.04%. Earnings per share reached $0.75, down from $0.86 a year ago, yet surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.72 by 4.17%.
North America Retail net sales fell 6.6% year over year to $2.45 billion, matching the average estimate from four analysts. Operating profit for the segment reached $478.6 million, below the projected $499.06 million.
International sales grew 4.5% to $794.3 million, topping the $779.36 million consensus estimate, while segment operating profit reached $75.2 million versus the expected $54.83 million. North America Pet sales rose 0.5% to $612.8 million, beating the $593.43 million estimate, though operating profit was $99.5 million compared to the $106.62 million forecast.
North America Foodservice net sales increased 1.2% year over year to $523.1 million, ahead of the $499 million estimate. Operating profit for the division reached $79.4 million, above the projected $66.3 million.
