Senior executives at Goldman Sachs are set to receive more than $500 million from a special performance equity incentive pool, according to reports published on October 8, 2026.

The five-year compensation program evaluated performance from October 2021 to October 2026. Approximately 20 senior executives are eligible to share in the equity pool.

Chief Executive David Solomon is projected to collect a payout of $100 million from the incentive plan. When the awards were granted in October 2021, Solomon received an allocation valued at $30 million, while John Waldron received an allocation valued at $20 million.

The prospective payouts follow other substantial awards granted by the firm. For fiscal year 2025, David Solomon received total annual compensation of $47 million, and both Solomon and Waldron were each awarded an $80 million retention bonus grant at the start of that year.
