Hapvida signs diagnostic deal with Roche worth near BRL 2B
The nine-year partnership includes BRL 250 million in capital investment from Roche.

Hapvida has signed a diagnostic modernization agreement with Roche Diagnóstica Brasil valued at almost BRL 2 billion over nine years, Estadão reported on October 6, 2026.
Under the terms of the contract, Hapvida may spend up to BRL 1.5 billion on services and laboratory inputs over the nine-year period. Roche has committed to invest BRL 250 million in capital expenditures to modernize Hapvida's technology infrastructure.
The modernization program involves the installation of 212 new equipment units across two central operational technical centers and 57 hospital technical hubs. The covered sites currently process 7.5 million laboratory exams each month, serving part of Hapvida's network of 16 million healthcare and dental beneficiaries.
