IBM launches on-premises digital asset platform
The tech firm also reported operational production of US quantum wafers with Anderon LLC.
IBM introduced an on-premises version of its Digital Asset Haven platform designed for regulated institutions. The deployment option allows banks, governments, and other supervised entities to run the software entirely within their own data centers on IBM Z and LinuxONE systems.
The setup keeps digital asset keys, compliance controls, and operational workflows inside an institution's existing environment. The platform includes an ISO 20022 adapter and connectivity to the Swift shared ledger, linking blockchain tools with established payment formats for use cases such as tokenized deposits and stablecoins.
Separately, IBM and Anderon LLC reported operational production of quantum wafers. The milestone marks manufacturing progress for quantum hardware in the United States ahead of volume scaling at a facility backed by the CHIPS Act.
Adoption of the on-premises Digital Asset Haven beta and its Swift ledger integration will face an operational test through 2027 as clients decide whether to shift from pilot tests into full production.
