The project will equip more than 60 aircraft using multi-orbit satellite technology.
LATAM Airlines will invest about $25 million to install satellite Wi-Fi across a significant portion of its fleet. The system will provide high-speed, stable in-flight internet access through satellites in different orbits across more than 60 aircraft.
The technology will be installed on Airbus A320neo, Airbus A321XLR, and Embraer E195-E2 planes. LATAM Airlines currently operates more than 250 aircraft equipped with Wi-Fi.

The upgrade builds on a partnership between satellite operator SES and LATAM Airlines spanning nearly a decade. That collaboration already includes 2Ku service across more than 200 A320-family aircraft. LATAM Pass members will receive free access to the on-board Wi-Fi service.
