Lululemon revamps leadership team and appoints product and COO heads

Maggie Gauger joins as product chief and Joseph Godsey takes over operations starting October 26.

Lululemon Athletica announced a new senior leadership team structure on October 7, 2026, aimed at strengthening product innovation, guest experience, and operational execution. The company created two new leadership roles to lead these efforts.

Maggie Gauger was appointed President & Chief Product Officer, and Joseph Godsey was named Chief Operating Officer. Both executive appointments become effective on October 26, 2026. Gauger previously served as President and CEO of Athleta, while Godsey was Chief Growth Officer at Walmart Canada.

Alongside the new appointments, Nikki Neuburger, Chief Brand & Product Activation Officer, and Ted Dagnese, Chief Supply Chain Officer, will depart the company on November 6, 2026, after assisting with the transition. Lululemon has also initiated searches for a Chief Brand Officer, a Chief Communications Officer, a Chief Technology Officer, and a Chief Strategy Officer.

Chief Financial Officer Meghan Frank will take on expanded responsibilities, including interim oversight of global brand and technology functions. Chief Commercial Officer André Maestrini, Chief Legal & Compliance Officer Shannon Higginson, and Chief People & Culture Officer Susan Gelinas will remain in their positions, reporting to CEO Heidi O'Neill.
