The firm becomes the first major Wall Street bank to publicly back such an initiative.
Morgan Stanley has partnered with prediction market platform NEXTPredict as a publicly named institutional collaborator. This alliance marks the first time a major Wall Street bank has formally aligned with an initiative focused on prediction markets as an emerging asset class.
Under the agreement, the bank will serve as a strategic partner at the upcoming NEXTPredict summit. In that role, Morgan Stanley will lead discussions exploring institutional adoption of prediction markets.
The collaboration connects with the firm's broader efforts in artificial intelligence and private markets, where competitors such as JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs are also testing probability data. However, the exact monetisation model remains untested as the firm navigates fee pressure and regulatory complexity.
