Neoenergia completed a transaction on September 30 to expand its strategic partnership with Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC in electricity transmission networks. The deal integrates seven transmission assets into their joint platform, named Neoenergia Transmissão. As announced in April, the agreed value was BRL 2.4 billion based on a September 30, 2025 base date, subject to customary closing adjustments.

The transaction includes Neoenergia Guanabara in Rio de Janeiro, Neoenergia Vale do Itajaí in Santa Catarina, Potiguar Sul in Rio Grande do Norte, Neoenergia Morro do Chapéu in Bahia, Neoenergia Estreito in Minas Gerais, Neoenergia Alto Paranaíba in São Paulo and Minas Gerais, and Neoenergia Paraíso in Mato Grosso do Sul.

Following the closing, Neoenergia raised its stake in Neoenergia Transmissão from 50% to 51%, retaining control of the platform. GIC holds the remaining 49%. The venture now manages 16 assets spanning 6,710 kilometers of transmission lines, with an estimated value of approximately BRL 25.5 billion and annual regulated revenue estimated at around BRL 1.9 billion.

This marks the third completed transaction under the strategic partnership established in 2023. Neoenergia stated in a release that the partnership supports the continued expansion and modernization of Brazilian electrical infrastructure based on long-term vision, financial discipline, and operational excellence.
