Bureau Veritas, QIMA, and TÜV SÜD will instruct merchants on safety standards across global markets.
Temu, owned by PDD Holdings, is expanding its seller education programs through partnerships with eight global testing and certification organizations. The group includes Bureau Veritas, QIMA, and TÜV SÜD. The livestreamed courses through the Temu Seller Academy help merchants navigate product safety and regulatory certification rules across international markets.
The platform reported that training sessions held in August drew more than 4,000 views from sellers and generated over 2,000 interactions. Bureau Veritas led instruction on European toy safety, labeling, and chemical risks, while TÜV SÜD covered testing rules for children's products in Europe and the United States. An August session run by the European Union-funded project SPEAC addressed the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. Upcoming modules will cover electronics, textiles, footwear, cosmetics, and food-contact materials.
The educational push follows more than 100 meetings Temu conducted during the first half of 2026 with European trade associations, chambers of commerce, and startup networks. To support merchants, the marketplace offers over 200 ERP software integrations and connections to more than 150 European delivery providers, including DHL Group and La Poste.
Temu has signed memorandums of understanding with Start:up Slovenia, Portugal's APDC, Cyprus's CITEA, and Switzerland's SKV, while also joining Cross-Border Commerce Europe. Temu operates in more than 90 markets worldwide.
