PDD's Temu signs partnership with ABSL in Romania

PDD Holdings e-commerce marketplace Temu signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Business Service Leaders in Romania on September 22, 2026. The organization represents Romania's business services sector, spanning startups to multinational firms in shared services, business process outsourcing, IT outsourcing, and research and development.

Under the agreement, Temu will participate in ABSL events and initiatives, providing sector expertise and in-kind support. Adrian Baron, president of ABSL Romania, noted that the partnership creates opportunities to link expertise across business services and e-commerce.

The tie-up forms part of Temu's European push to reduce growth barriers such as complexity, cost, and limited connections. The company operates in more than 90 markets globally and previously signed agreements with Cyprus's CITEA and Romanian national postal operator Poșta Română.
