Roblox Corporation announced major platform expansions at its 12th annual Roblox Developers Conference, celebrating 20 years of platform development. During the quarter ended June 30, 2026, users spent 29 billion hours on the platform across more than 180 countries.

Under the Roblox Everywhere initiative, developers will soon have the option to publish their games as standalone apps across mobile, PC, and consoles, backed by Roblox technology. By the end of this year, users will also be able to play directly in the Chrome browser without downloading an app, while new engine tools will add offline modes, 2D game formats, and turn-based multiplayer features.

The company is also expanding its AI game-creation tab, Build, into a public alpha in Serbia and Singapore following an initial test in New Zealand. Creators have already used Build to publish approximately 9,000 games, with 71% of those creators using platform development tools for the first time. Later this year, a new Scene Generator feature will convert text prompts and reference images into functional 3D environments.

Roblox reported that creators earned approximately $1.7 billion over the past 12 months, bringing total payouts since 2013 past $5 billion. To support developer monetization, the company is launching Roblox Wallet later this year for eligible U.S. creators aged 18 and older, offering daily payouts in real currency through partner Airwallex US, alongside a Roblox Card coming next year.
