ServiceNow adds Xapien AI due diligence to its platform

ServiceNow has integrated Xapien into its AI Platform as a native application. The tool delivers automated, fully-sourced background checks on individuals and companies directly within enterprise workflows.

The release is available in the ServiceNow Store with free trials for ServiceNow customers. It enriches default risk scores in Third-Party Risk Management modules and can be configured across other platform workflows, including procurement, compliance, and business development.

The integration follows a $56 million funding round raised by Xapien from Spectrum Equity and YFM Equity Partners to support its expansion in the United States. Xapien operates as a Build Partner within the ServiceNow Partner Program, serving 350 clients that include multinational corporations, law firms, and private banks.

Alix Douglas, group vice president of global technology partnerships at ServiceNow, said the integration brings automated due diligence directly into third-party risk workflows to help risk and compliance teams act without extra friction.
