Sony Electronics introduced three new wireless headphone models on September 7, 2026. The launch includes the WH-1000XM4C over-ear noise-cancelling headphones, the mid-range WH-CH730N, and the entry-level WH-CH530.

The WH-1000XM4C serves as a refreshed version of the WH-1000XM4. It adds updated sound tuning, a 10-band equalizer, and a new Lavender color alongside Black and Platinum Silver. Sony priced the model at $299.99 USD ($429.99 CAD) for release in fall 2026.

The mid-range WH-CH730N features Dual Noise Sensor technology, a foldable design, and up to 50 hours of battery life with noise cancellation active. A three-minute quick charge delivers one hour of playback. It is available immediately starting September 2026 for $179.99 USD ($249.99 CAD) in Black, White, Pink, Blue, and Oat.

For entry-level buyers, the on-ear WH-CH530 provides up to 55 hours of battery life, a three-minute quick charge for 1.5 hours of playback, and AI noise reduction for calls. It is priced at $69.99 USD ($99.99 CAD) in six colors, including Cobalt, Coral, Mint, Pink, White, and Black.

The release of the WH-1000XM4C reflects continued consumer interest in a headphone model recognized globally for its combination of noise cancelling performance, sound quality, and comfort.
