Tesla expanded its European recovery in September 2026, posting solid registration gains across key markets according to official figures released on October 1, 2026.

In France, Tesla passenger car registrations surged 61.86% year-over-year in September 2026 to 9,038 vehicles, securing a 5.77% market share. The Model Y accounted for the bulk of deliveries with 8,183 units. Across the entire French market, total passenger car registrations climbed 11.60% to 156,629 vehicles. Through the first nine months of 2026, cumulative French registrations for Tesla rose 124.37% to 45,199 units.

The company also posted gains in Northern Europe. In Sweden, Tesla registrations jumped 38.4% year-over-year in September. In Norway, registrations increased 2.2% to 4,935 vehicles.

The regional gains follow broader growth across the continent earlier this year. Across the European Union, United Kingdom, and EFTA, Tesla registrations grew 43.3% year-over-year between January and August 2026, compared to a 38.8% increase for the wider battery-electric vehicle segment.
