Volaris lifts load factor to 84.4% in September
Passenger numbers reached 2.47 million as international traffic rose 14.2%.

Controladora Vuela Compañía de Aviación, known as Volaris, reported that its consolidated load factor rose 1 percentage point year over year to 84.4% in September 2026. Consolidated traffic, measured in revenue passenger miles, increased 3.1%, outpacing a 1.9% expansion in capacity measured in available seat miles.
The carrier transported 2.47 million passengers during the month, which represents a 4.2% increase compared with September 2025.
International operations drove the expansion. International traffic jumped 14.2% year over year while capacity grew 8.8%, lifting the international load factor by 3.8 percentage points to 79.8%. In contrast, domestic traffic declined 3.8% alongside a 3.2% cut in capacity, leaving the domestic load factor down 0.6 percentage points at 88.2%.
