Volaris moves up Puebla to Chicago flights to October
The direct connection to O'Hare starts two months early with three weekly flights
Controladora Vuela has moved up the start of its direct route between Puebla and Chicago O'Hare by two months. The service will now launch in October 2026 rather than its originally planned December start date.
The airline scheduled three weekly round-trip flights on the route. The nonstop flight between Puebla's Hermanos Serdán Airport and Chicago has an estimated duration of four hours.
Initial presale demand reached a 72% seat occupancy rate for the early flights. This marks a capacity reallocation from discontinued domestic routes out of Puebla, which had recorded a 17% seat occupancy rate.
With this launch, Volaris expands its network to four active international destinations operated directly from Puebla.
