The retailer opened 118 stores in the past year and is expanding its distribution hubs across three states.
AutoZone reached 1,000 stores across Mexico after inaugurating its milestone location in Querétaro. Over the past year, the automotive parts retailer accelerated its network growth by opening 118 new stores.
The company's retail network in Mexico now provides more than 120,000 auto parts, covering 98% of the country's vehicle fleet. Memo Demis, President of AutoZone Mexico, noted that the milestone reflects nearly three decades of operating history in the country and relies on a workforce of more than 17,000 employees.
To support the retail expansion, AutoZone strengthened its supply chain with the opening of a new distribution center in Juárez, Nuevo León. The retailer also completed additional investments at its distribution center in Tepeji, Hidalgo, and broke ground on a logistics complex in León, Guanajuato.
