Caterpillar agrees to acquire dealer Fabick Cat

Caterpillar announced on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement to acquire John Fabick Tractor Company, known as Fabick Cat. The dealership has operated for more than 100 years and serves parts of Missouri and Illinois, the entire state of Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Fabick operates across 37 locations in its territory. Caterpillar said the transaction is intended to support a seamless transition of ownership while preserving existing local service and customer support.

The transaction requires regulatory approval and remains subject to customary closing conditions. Both companies expect the purchase to close within 30 days.

Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Joe Creed said the company looks forward to building on Fabick's century of success and driving long-term growth across the territory. Jeré Fabick, Chairman, CEO and Dealer Principal of Fabick, and COO Todd Stanley noted that the step will enhance service and technology for customers in the region.
