Docusign launches desktop PDF Editor for its IAM platform
The new tool connects document editing with electronic signatures starting November 2, 2026.
Docusign announced on Thursday, October 8, 2026, the launch of Docusign PDF Editor. The desktop application integrates PDF editing directly into the company's Intelligent Agreement Management platform and eSignature workflow.
According to the company, more than 70% of eSignature requests initiated directly in Docusign begin as PDFs. Docusign noted that 95% of Fortune 500 companies currently use its electronic signature services.
The tool allows users to edit text and images, merge files, reorder or delete pages, redact sensitive information, build forms, and convert file formats. Documents can move straight into signing workflows without manual re-uploading. Once a contract is signed, editing is locked to preserve integrity, and Docusign artificial intelligence analyzes the document to track renewal dates, answer questions, and highlight risks.
The desktop application will be available for purchase by IAM and eSignature customers on November 2, 2026. Launch languages include English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, with more languages scheduled for 2027.
