Fleury buys lab operator Unilab for 55 million reais
The deal expands the diagnostic network in São Paulo and Minas Gerais at 0.85 times revenue.
Brazilian healthcare diagnostic company Fleury announced on October 1, 2026, the acquisition of clinical analysis laboratory operator Unilab for an enterprise value of 55 million Brazilian reais.
The acquired entities operate clinical testing services in the state of São Paulo across Atibaia, Bragança Paulista, Itatiba, Jarinu, Bom Jesus dos Perdões, Aparecida, Pindamonhangaba, and Piracaia, as well as in Extrema in the state of Minas Gerais. In the twelve months ending in May 2026, Unilab generated gross operational revenue of 65 million Brazilian reais.
The purchase price represents an enterprise value to gross revenue multiple of 0.85. The transaction also values Unilab at 4.3 times earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation before synergies, and 3.5 times EBITDA after expected operational synergies.
