Google names Marcela Jiménez as Latin America head for Workspace
The platform serves over 4 billion monthly active users globally.
Google announced the appointment of Marcela Jiménez as the new head of Google Workspace for Latin America. Jiménez brings more than two decades of experience in the technology sector to the role.
In her new post, Jiménez will lead the regional strategy for the platform. Her focus will center on the future of work through artificial intelligence and organizational growth. Google noted that its strategy aims to help businesses automate repetitive tasks using AI.
The appointment comes as Google seeks to deepen Workspace adoption across the region. Globally, Google stated that Workspace has more than 4 billion monthly active users and 11 million corporate customers. Under Jiménez, the unit plans to support large enterprises, public institutions, and small and medium-sized businesses across Latin America.
