The D&B Commercial Graph joins the platform via Model Context Protocol to ground enterprise AI agents.
On 17 September 2026, Dun & Bradstreet announced that its D&B Commercial Graph is now available in the IBM watsonx Orchestrate Agent Catalog. The connection operates via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
The integration links enterprise artificial intelligence agents to verified business identities, corporate relationships, and commercial context. Anchored by the D-U-N-S Number identifier, the system allows AI workflows to recognize the same business entity across multiple software applications without requiring manual reconciliation.
The verified data layer targets workflows across sales, procurement, risk management, and credit evaluation. According to Elizabeth Barrette, General Manager for Master Data Management Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet, a recent survey by the firm found that only 6% of businesses believe their enterprise data is fully ready to support AI at scale.
Megan Grant, Managing Director of IBM Technology for the U.S. Industry Market, stated that watsonx Orchestrate is designed to connect AI directly to core operational systems and data, allowing clients to deploy verified commercial context straight into their automated agent workflows.
