Palantir Technologies announced a partnership with Armada on October 1, 2026, to deliver sovereign artificial intelligence infrastructure. As part of the agreement, Palantir named Armada its inaugural certified modular data center partner.

The joint initiative integrates Palantir's Sovereign AI Operating System, built on AIP, Ontology, Foundry, and Apollo, with Armada's Galleon modular data centers, the Armada Platform, and the Sovereign AI Grid. This architecture extends an earlier reference design developed jointly with Nvidia, allowing enterprises and governments to deploy open-weight models such as Nvidia Nemotron in months rather than years.

Armada's hardware is manufactured in the United States and allied countries. The platform enables customers to maintain model weights, data, and compute under their direct physical control, operating on-grid, off-grid, or fully air-gapped without relying on external cloud providers.

Alex Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir, stated that true sovereignty requires institutions to own the weights, data, and hardware that models run on, as well as knowing where the equipment was produced. Dan Wright, co-founder and CEO of Armada, noted that the joint system connects individual modular deployments into a distributed network resilient by design.
