SLB signs 15-year digital contract with TotalEnergies
TotalEnergies will deploy the DrillPlan platform across its global upstream operations.

SLB announced a 15-year contract with TotalEnergies on October 8, 2026. Under the agreement, TotalEnergies will deploy SLB's DrillPlan coherent well planning and engineering solutions across its global upstream portfolio.
The platform connects subsurface insights directly into well engineering and drilling planning workflows. It integrates offset well data, trajectory designs, casing and completion inputs, and planning assumptions across the well construction process, allowing teams to collaborate on a single data foundation.
This agreement demonstrates how customers are moving toward digital solutions that improve consistency, strengthen collaboration and provide a foundation for future workflow innovation.
The long-term deployment aims to standardize TotalEnergies' drilling planning environment while combining the operator's internal workflows with SLB's digital and well construction technology.
